Process
At illustr8 we follow a path taking us through four stages for all our projects but tailoring according to the project.
Planning - Design - Build/Print - Measure
Planning
At the start of any project you need to plan objectives and prioritise activities. Knowing the goals we are able to conduct research, taking our findings to create an action plan. Also in the planning stage we organise the requirements and the way the project will function in the target market place.
Design
After planning, the next stage is to design the project to achieve what the client would like and to appeal to there target market. At each stage of the design process we monitor and refine, making sure we are creating the optimal design possible. At the end of this stage we produce a proof for the client to view and approve and then final concepts are produced.
Build/Print
The building or printing of any project is exciting, seeing what has been designed take shape. When it comes to websites, this is the point where we build the interfaces of the site, databases and server side applications are built making sure it is built to perform at its optimal. Once we are happy, it is then either integrated into it environment or launch onto the internet.
Print is all about quality at this stage, we make sure that what has been designed or supplied is being produced correctly, at the highest quality and on time.
Measure
The measuring of any project at pre- and post- launch is critical to find out results against initial business objectives. We install analysis processes to monitor site traffic and gather user feedback.
